Hannah Savage with Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians within her client's manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving engineering excellence, strengthening processes, and supporting continuous improvement across their production environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
Provide technical guidance, help set priorities, and oversee daily engineering operations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflow efficiency
Partner with cross-functional teams—including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance—to support operational goals
Manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality targets are met
Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support professional development planning
Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Leverage data and system tools to support decision-making and operational improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience in a manufacturing environment
At least 3-5 years of engineering experience
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to coach others through technical challenges
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Nice to have:
Experience working with Epicor ERP systems
Proficiency with CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Experience managing engineering projects within a plant or industrial setting
