We are seeking a highly qualified Factory Engineer to lead our Engineering Department across both Knitting and Make-Up operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring world-class machine performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the factory.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage the entire Engineering function for both Knitting and Make-Up sections
Oversee all machinery including knitting machines, linking, sewing, cutting, embroidery, finishing equipment, sublimation and supporting utilities
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime
Ensure rapid response to machine breakdowns and high-quality troubleshooting
Implement TPM/Lean methodologies to improve machine efficiency and reliability
Build and develop a skilled engineering team, ensuring strong supervision and accountability
Analyse machine data and KPIs to identify gaps and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related discipline)
TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or similar continuous improvement training will be an added advantage
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an engineering leadership role within manufacturing
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine performance optimisation
Familiarity with textile machinery preferred (Flatbed knitting, linking, sewing, embroidery, or related equipment)
