The Engineering Manager at Adventures on the Gorge is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of all facilities, infrastructure, and mechanical systems across the resort. This role plans, directs, and executes all activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services, while ensuring compliance with Aramark standards, client expectations, and all applicable regulatory requirements. The Engineering Manager oversees maintenance operations across lodging units, F&B outlets, retail locations, recreation facilities, transportation assets, and common areas, including preventative maintenance planning, work order execution, capital project support, and emergency response coordination. The role is also responsible for maintaining all aquatic facilities, including pool systems, ensuring proper water chemistry, filtration and circulation performance, regulatory compliance, and seasonal opening and closing readiness.

Responsible for building revenue and managing budget which includes cost controls regarding engineering, inventory, projects, and labor as well as ensuring the completion and maintenance of P&L and budget statements
Adopts all Aramark processes and systems, eliminate custom/manual reports
Understands performance metrics, data, and order and inventory trends
educate teams on key levers to improve margins
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach
Provides overall direction and manages performance for all Engineering supervisors , and front-line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with human resource related policies and standards, including conducting applicable rounding
Ensures compliance with appropriate safety, OSHA, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Requires 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and/or engineering
Requires 1-3 years of experience in a management role
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Ability to manage as part of a larger team or manage function independently, without direct supervision
