Job Description:

RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $10B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue. We are looking for an engineering manager to join our team and help design, build, ship and support end to end features and products that will help developers grow their business. We want to bring somebody onboard who is very technical, hands-on, product-focused, can grow their team and is passionate about building web-based tools with a great user experience that solve customer problems.

Job Responsibility:

Build and lead a highly engaged distributed team by hiring, supporting, coaching the team to deliver consistently and continuously seek ways to make an impact
Work cross functionally primarily with product, design and support teams to set direction for the team, anticipate strategic and scaling related challenges through thoughtful long term planning
Work with your team on the iterative execution of the roadmap and build efficient & transparent processes for consistent and predictable delivery
Coach and mentor engineers on the team to further their professional development
Work with other engineering managers to continuously improve our organization & create a strong sense of ownership, belonging and inclusivity

Requirements:

6+ years of experience as a software engineer
3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
Experience working cross functionally to build prioritized roadmaps for your teams
Can balance shipping new features, managing tech debt and investing in system improvements
Hands-on and perform code reviews and bug investigation when needed
Comfortable writing SQL queries to analyze data and find inconsistencies
Work with your team to ensure that they are consistently producing value and quality software through shorter iterative development cycles
Work with your team to improve the quality of our products, ensuring that they meet product requirements, customer needs, and SLAs
Provide technical leadership to the team and can work with engineers to help guide them into important technical decisions
Experience working with engineers at different levels and have coached them in their career development
Customer obsessed, prioritizing their outcomes and experiences
