The Engineering Manager will manage and oversee the performance of the engineering staff for a variety of projects while ensuring QC and deadlines are met. An Engineering Manager will provide leadership, train, and mentor staff, subcontractors, and other parties. Standards and design requirements will be kept current and up to date.

Manage and oversee the performance of engineering staff for multiple projects
Review project schedules to ensure deadlines are met
Provide QA/QC before plans are delivered
Provide leadership to engineering staff
Train and mentor staff, subcontractors, and others
Maintain knowledge of current standards and design requirements
Work with project management teams to ensure the project design is accurate before work commences
Act as the main point of communication between engineers and Project Managers
Prepare reports for upper management
Use advanced techniques in the modification or extension of practices within OSP/ISP engineering
Other relevant duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school or equivalent education
Valid Driver’s License
Subject to pre-employment drug test and MVR (Motor Vehicle Records) Report
Ability to manage a large number of projects and capably prioritize them based on deadlines and importance

Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
Experience working with Outside Plant Engineering in the following systems: AutoCAD, NDS, ARAMIS, Bluebeam, and/or customer-specific GIS software
