Ready To Lead AI‑Driven Developer Productivity at Scale? AI is already changing how software gets built. This role decides how it actually works at Personify Health. You’ll shape how engineers use AI day to day—cutting busywork, raising quality, and protecting security—so teams ship better software that supports healthier outcomes for members and clients.
Job Responsibility:
Set the AI roadmap: Define and drive the roadmap for AI‑assisted development across the SDLC, turning experiments into production‑ready capabilities with clear guardrails and measurable value
Productize AI workflows: Identify where AI can eliminate repetitive work across coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and operations, then integrate those solutions into existing developer tools and workflows
Lead with technical depth: Evaluate AI models, platforms, and developer tooling to guide architectural decisions, integrations, and implementation standards—earning credibility by leading from the code and the design review
Measure real impact: Build a pragmatic measurement framework that tracks adoption, workflow efficiency, delivery speed, and code quality, focusing on outcomes rather than tool usage
Protect quality and safety: Define usage guidelines, review practices, and automated controls that keep security, reliability, and compliance intact as development speed increases
Build and guide the team: Lead and grow an engineering team focused on AI‑enabled developer productivity through clear priorities, playbooks, training, and continuous feedback
Partner across engineering: Work closely with architecture, platform, product, and security teams to ensure AI capabilities solve real problems and fit cleanly into existing systems
Requirements:
5+ years as a software engineer working with APIs, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems
3+ years leading engineering teams with ownership of technical direction and delivery outcomes
Experience building or contributing to developer platforms, internal tools, or engineering systems
Hands‑on use of AI‑assisted developer tooling (e.g., coding assistants, test generation, documentation automation, internal copilots)
Experience translating AI experimentation into scalable, production‑ready workflows
Nice to have:
Experience working in health‑tech or other regulated engineering environments
Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, fine‑tuning, or RAG patterns
Background in platform engineering, DevEx, or developer productivity tooling
