Job Responsibility
Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define, enforce, and evolve engineering best practices
Develop and maintain key performance metrics (SLOs/SLIs) to measure and improve system health
Promote a 'you build it, you run it' mindset, focusing on automation and reducing operational friction
Assess team capacity realistically to ensure consistent, predictable delivery of platform commitments
Requirements
Extensive experience managing platform or infrastructure engineering teams in high-growth environments
Deep understanding of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and complex distributed systems
Strong familiarity with Kubernetes, container ecosystems, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
A strong background in performance-sensitive systems where high availability is non-negotiable
A proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and a knack for making processes more efficient
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to grow talent by providing candid, continuous feedback aligned with professional career frameworks, fostering a high-trust and psychologically safe environment
Ability to remain technically engaged enough to be accountable for architectural quality and security, without becoming a bottleneck in day-to-day operations
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
