Job Description:

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Payments UX team. Your team will shape how millions of users experience payments across Bolt, from Rider and Driver apps to Food, Courier, and Business platforms. By driving consistency and quality across all products and building a unified payments UX platform, you will play a key role in building a unified payments UX platform and making payments seamless, intuitive, and trustworthy at scale.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading and growing talented Software Engineers specialising in backend, web, and mobile platforms, building and operating systems where failures have real user and operational impact
  • Defining and driving the team roadmap together with Product
  • Creating a team setup that enables predictable delivery, good engineering quality, and healthy collaboration
  • Driving individual 1-1s to mentor and coach Software Engineers to develop skills and uncover their potential
  • Communicating context and decisions clearly to engineers, stakeholders, and leadership

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • experience owning a product or platform area end-to-end
  • experience leading high-performing engineering teams and strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of hiring, growing, and retaining talent
  • ability to balance execution with long-term vision, set up effective engineering processes, and make data-driven decisions
