Job Description:

As Engineering Manager for one of our user-facing Password Manager teams, you will lead and empower one of our most prominent development teams at 1Password. Reporting to the Head of Password Manager Development, you will help craft our vision and make it a reality through creative engineering and identifying required solutions to hard problems.

Job Responsibility:

Manage engineers and develop engineering leads
Foster an environment of innovation, execution, and collaboration
Work to scope and plan key deliverables for projects and initiatives with the team
Drive execution with an emphasis on iterations and deliverables, quality, velocity, and communication
Provide technical leadership to developers both in your team and across the engineering organization
Grow a team of strong engineers to create an inclusive workplace
Continue scaling a highly specialized engineering team by working with a team of Engineering Managers to continuously refine hiring, onboarding, and development processes

Requirements:

At least 3 years experience in a role where you were responsible for managing a team of software engineers and everything that comes with it
Significant hands-on development experience (preferably in the app space)
Successfully coordinated and delivered large scale projects before that touched multiple areas of the business, product, or underlying architecture
Ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment
Capable of driving the delivery of projects, and creating roadmaps for future work

Nice to have:

Experience managing remote and distributed teams
User experience/design background
Experience in the SaaS B2B space
