Job Description

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Adyen Cloud Services (ACS) Team within the Platform Engineering organization in Bengaluru. This team owns and operates Adyen's core container orchestration and traffic management infrastructure, the foundation that keeps our global payment platform running. In this role, you will drive technical strategy, build a high-performing team, and shape the evolution of our platform as Adyen continues to scale globally.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing and growing high-performing teams in platform, infrastructure, or SRE domains
  • 8+ years in engineering
  • 3+ years in leadership roles
  • Deep understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes), traffic management (load balancers, DNS), and on-prem/bare-metal operations
  • Hands-on experience running large-scale, highly available production infrastructure
  • Technical leader with a strong engineering perspective
  • Hands-on when needed

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in FinTech or regulated industries where reliability and security are paramount
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, and building automation for provisioning and lifecycle management
