Job Responsibility:

  • Build and run the technology that underpins our global 40 Billion Euro business, operating across 377+ stores and 30 countries
  • Driving innovation across the software landscape, from creating greenfield solutions to evolving and integrating existing systems

Requirements:

  • Solid technical background with a good balance of breadth and depth in technical knowledge
  • Experience or familiarity with BDD, TDD, test automation, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, code versioning, security, and industry standard toolsets
  • Experience creating software at global scale, preferably in cloud-based microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of design and architecture concepts (i.e. microservices, API-first, event-driven architectures...) and the ability to apply them within the software development lifecycle
  • People skills as a true team player
  • Real passion for managing engineers and building high performing, happy, focused and empathetic teams
  • Ability to inspire engineering teams to build high standard software
