Every day, hundreds of millions of people all over the world use the products we build which include destinations like “Home” and “Search” as well as original playlists such as “Discover Weekly” and “Daily Mix.” We’re a team of technologists, product insight specialists, designers, and product managers in Boston, New York, Stockholm, and London. We are looking for a passionate Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team working on multi-objective, multi-stakeholder recommendations in Spotify playlists. We support multiple services and sets, accessed by half a billion Spotify listeners, with tight scalability and latency guarantees. As an Engineering Manager at Spotify, your primary responsibility is to the people you support. You will ensure that they are growing as engineers, delivering healthy technology, and generally having a great time at Spotify. A proven technology background is key, so that you’re able to challenge your team members to be their best. You will have the opportunity to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery and work with your team on strategy and execution.
