The Personalization team makes deciding what to play next on Spotify easier and more enjoyable for every listener. We are looking for a passionate Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team working on multi-objective, multi-stakeholder recommendations in Spotify playlists. We support multiple services and sets, accessed by half a billion Spotify listeners, with tight scalability and latency guarantees. As an Engineering Manager at Spotify, your primary responsibility is to the people you support. You will ensure that they are growing as engineers, delivering healthy technology, and generally having a great time at Spotify. A proven technology background is key, so that you’re able to challenge your team members to be their best. You will have the opportunity to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery and work with your team on strategy and execution.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading software engineering teams or projects (e.g., mentoring junior engineers, setting technical direction, etc.)

  • Experience working towards strategic goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
