Job Description

As the Engineering Manager of our Community & Engagement team, you’ll drive and manage a Software Engineering unit that owns our marketing and communications capabilities used by thousands of studios worldwide. Your team’s focus areas will include: Driving initiatives that bring bsport into the world of agentic AI; Maintaining and evolving our marketing suite, including our Campaigns tool and our workflow automation tool; Manage our SMS, email and push notification communication channels, and future integrations for new channels; Helping our studios gain a better understanding of their community by improving the foundations of our member data; Guiding the re-architecture of some core functionalities within bsport, from our member segmentation tools to our communications stack.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of Software Engineers to manage the full-lifecycles of your products
  • Architect robust systems to deliver a wide range of customizable offering for our members on our mobile apps and web interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with key bsport business units to implement new products and provide valuable feedback
  • Mentor team members, nurturing their professional growth and development

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in any current Object-Oriented backend language
  • Experience managing and scaling Software Engineering teams
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Familiarity with Python and Django is a plus
