Job Description:

As Engineering Manager in the Product Line Capital Dredging you are the owner of the technical solution throughout all stages of the project. You will manage engineering activities in tendering and execution, provide clear communication across teams and connect all multidisciplinary and technical aspects of work packages. With your experience you guide teams to deliver safe and effective solutions that contribute to profitable projects in line with Van Oord strategic objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across coastal, geotechnical, environmental, civil and production disciplines
  • act as the technical authority and primary engineering point of contact in tenders and projects
  • contribute to high quality technical solutions that meet requirements schedules and budgets
  • identify risks and opportunities and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes
  • build strong collaborative relations with internal and external stakeholders that benefit Van Oord clients

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine or another relevant engineering field
  • At least 10 years of experience in dredging projects and engineering management
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive collaboration across disciplines and cultures
  • Skilled in stakeholder management with a clear and open communication style
  • Willingness to travel and be on-site when the project requires it
