Job Description

We are looking for an Engineering & Maintenance Intern to support the digitalization and structuring of our maintenance activities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of a solid CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) foundation, enabling consistent data generation while supporting the transition towards more data‑driven and efficient maintenance practices. The intern will play a key role in building asset structures, preventive maintenance plans and usage discipline within the CMMS, allowing the core team to remain focused on operational and compliance‑critical activities. This is a low‑risk, high‑impact opportunity to gain hands‑on experience at the intersection of engineering, maintenance, digitalization and data analytics, fully aligned with Corteva’s operational excellence and digital transformation objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the digitalization and structuring of the preventive maintenance plan, including asset hierarchy, task lists and maintenance frequencies
  • Assist with data cleansing, standardization and configuration within the GMAO, covering equipment, locations, work orders and spare parts
  • Support the development of maintenance KPIs and basic dashboards for performance monitoring and reporting
  • Participate in initiatives applying data analytics and Artificial Intelligence to maintenance activities, such as predictive analysis, incident classification and automation of administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the creation and update of technical documentation, digital procedures and standards
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, EHS and technology providers, promoting safe, reliable and efficient operations

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemical or similar)
  • Ability to enter into an internship agreement with a university or educational institution
  • Interest and foundational knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, data analytics or automation applied to industrial use cases
  • Basic knowledge of: Data analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, Python or similar). Fundamental AI / Machine Learning concepts (predictive models, trend analysis, classification)
  • Proficient in standard office productivity tools
  • Advance English level
