Job Description:

We have big plans ahead and are looking for our Engineering Manager to join us in building our team.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage a squad of 4-5 engineers, building our core product
collaborate with the cofounders, product managers, and senior engineers to define the product roadmap and ensure it aligns with the company's mission and goals
drive speedy delivery of high quality features and guide your team towards engineering best practices, including in code reviews, testing, and writing useful documentation
foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ownership within the engineering team
recruit, interview, hire, and onboard world-class engineers
mentor and coach individual engineers to help them grow and develop their skills

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software engineering
at least 2 years of experience leading a team of engineers
strong technical background in computer science or a related field
experience building and scaling complex software systems
experience leading a fast-moving, high-performing engineering team
proven ability to recruit and develop technically excellent engineers
passion for building products that are loved by their users
excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

Experience with machine learning, and in particular computer vision, robotics, and embodied AI
