We have big plans ahead and are looking for our Engineering Manager to join us in building our team.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a squad of 4-5 engineers, building our core product
  • collaborate with the cofounders, product managers, and senior engineers to define the product roadmap and ensure it aligns with the company's mission and goals
  • drive speedy delivery of high quality features and guide your team towards engineering best practices, including in code reviews, testing, and writing useful documentation
  • foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ownership within the engineering team
  • recruit, interview, hire, and onboard world-class engineers
  • mentor and coach individual engineers to help them grow and develop their skills

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering
  • at least 2 years of experience leading a team of engineers
  • strong technical background in computer science or a related field
  • experience building and scaling complex software systems
  • experience leading a fast-moving, high-performing engineering team
  • proven ability to recruit and develop technically excellent engineers
  • passion for building products that are loved by their users
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

Experience with machine learning, and in particular computer vision, robotics, and embodied AI
