Job Description:

The Engineering Lead will provide technical leadership and strategic direction, promote cultural change, and support software engineering efforts. The role requires expertise in multiple programming languages, design of distributed systems, and fostering a collaborative culture to develop innovative solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Work with a wide variety of Citi teams to drive everything-as-code and Developer Engineering tooling adoption
collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and services
hands-on coding and software design
mentor other engineers
support cultural change including continuous improvement and process critical thinking

Requirements:

Java
Spring Boot
Docker
Kubernetes
OpenShift
architecture and design experience
large enterprise environment experience
international work exposure
strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge
distributed systems expertise
event-driven architectures
container-based micro-services
programming in Python, Go, Java/SpringBoot, Kotlin, and TypeScript

Nice to have:

Finance domain experience
experience working in a product-focused team
