Job Description:

Engineering Lead/Sr. Associate Director role in Delivery Management at HSBC, responsible for leading technology capabilities delivery and ensuring alignment with business objectives in a fast-paced banking environment.

Job Responsibility:

Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership and stakeholders
Formulate and implement strategic plans to align technology initiatives with business objectives
Manage special topics and strategy papers
Lead change management initiatives
Develop and execute communication plans
Work closely with cross functional and cross divisional teams
Define and monitor key performance indicators
Oversee budget planning and management
Work in fast paced environment managing multiple tasks and priorities
Foster culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

Minimum 18+ years professional experience
Demonstrated ability to independently lead and deliver Technology capabilities
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to navigate multiple geographies and functions
Proven experience in crafting compelling narratives that summarize and visualize cross-platform strategies
Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
Experience with private banking technology, digital transformation and innovation in banking technology
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI)
Familiarity with agile project management tools (Jira and Confluence)
In-depth understanding of private banking and wealth services including investment advisory, wealth planning, insurance and credit
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or IT preferred
