Job Description

We're recruiting for an Engineering Lead to oversee engineering operations at a prestigious banking facility in Central London. This high-profile 3-month interim assignment offers the opportunity to lead a mission-critical environment, providing technical leadership, operational oversight, and client engagement during a key transitional period. Working for a leading Facilities Management provider, you'll play a vital role in maintaining service continuity, driving compliance, and ensuring exceptional engineering performance across a complex and highly regulated site.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide leadership across a critical banking environment, ensuring safe and effective service delivery
  • Lead and support the onsite engineering team, driving performance, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Act as the primary engineering contact for the client, building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Oversee permit-to-work systems, risk management processes, and engineering governance
  • Support incident management, audits, and performance improvement initiatives to ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role within Facilities Management or critical environments
  • Strong experience within banking, financial services, data centres, or other mission-critical facilities
  • Demonstrable success managing engineering teams within live operational environments
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications and a strong understanding of compliance and engineering governance
