Job Description:

Lead static equipment engineering activities for major offshore expansion projects, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes. Provide support to the Offshore Engineering Manager to ensure all aspects are delivered in accordance with applicable standards. Provide expert technical guidance on mechanical/static equipment to ensure robust equipment design and compliance with international standards to enhance asset reliability and safety.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead static equipment engineering activities for major offshore expansion projects, ensuring technical requirements fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes
  • Provide support to the Offshore Engineering Manager to ensure all aspects are delivered in accordance with applicable standards
  • Provide expert technical guidance on mechanical/static equipment to ensure robust equipment design and compliance with international standards to enhance asset reliability and safety
  • Ensure contractor mechanical equipment engineering for topsides and onshore facilities complies with contract requirements, applicable codes and project standards
  • Review and approve mechanical engineering deliverables for equipment including test separators, pig traps and chemical storage tanks
  • Review and approve contractor technical bid evaluations for mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Plan and schedule engineering deliverables to support efficient project execution and technical alignment with company policies and project management systems
  • Participate in key design workshops and ensure actions are closed
  • Support the Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring contractor progress for static equipment documentation
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts across disciplines and manage technical deviations when required
  • Manage engineering interfaces for mechanical equipment across topsides and onshore facilities, ensuring effective coordination with operations and project teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years' relevant engineering experience
  • At least 4 years in a major oil & gas project environment
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Broad knowledge of engineering execution, design standards, specifications, offshore facilities design, construction and operations
