Job Description:

Tableau, Cognos and MicroStrategy Administrator will be responsible for administering, supporting, governing and maintaining multiple Tableau, Cognos and MicroStrategy environments in Business Intelligence Tools team. Must have a thorough understanding of Tableau, Cognos and MicroStrategy architecture and the entire product suite, administration policies, techniques and methodologies. This is a multitasking role, and the individual is expected to support multiple application teams as well as a large and diverse Business user community.

Job Responsibility:

Lead installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud
Manage site architecture, server processes, and service optimization
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and failover readiness
Conduct platform onboarding, training sessions, and documentation for users
Administer the BI platform used for pixel-perfect reporting
Integrate Tableau with DevOps tools or CI/CD pipelines if applicable
Monitor Tableau infrastructure resource usage
Forecast scaling needs and optimize infrastructure costs
Install, upgrade, configure and manage MicroStrategy platform in Linux environments
Configure database instance, user setup, and security and governance settings in MicroStrategy
Continuously improve the platform through tuning, optimization, governance, automation, and troubleshooting
Provide MicroStrategy support for the platform, report execution and implementation
Publish best practices, configuration recommendations, design patterns, deployment and security architecture
Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses solve/work high impact problems/projects
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to analysts
Develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices

Requirements:

8+ years IT experience in the areas of Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Cognos and MicroStrategy) Development and Administration
5+ years of Linux, Shell scripting experience
Tableau Certified Associate or Server Certified Professional
Experience with Tableau Cloud migration
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to platform reliability and performance
Team player with a willingness to share knowledge, cross-train, and learn new technologies
Flexible, hardworking, self-motivated, and positive outlook with the ability to handle challenging initiatives
Ability to prioritize, organize, make decisions, and problem-solve under pressure
Self-starter with minimal supervision and the ability to work in diverse teams across different locations
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
