Independently plans and performs experiments that support new product or technology feasibility testing. Critically analyzes data generated from experiments. Synthesizes resulting evaluations of product and technology feasibility, as well as ideas and concepts and records them in an R&D Notebook. Reports results of experiments to R&D management and peers. Advises of the product development implications arising from the results and when necessary prepares technical reports. Supports the IDS intellectual property strategy by documenting data and independent, unique and patentable ideas that result from experimentations and concept generation.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Minimum 1-5+ years direct laboratory experience
Bachelors in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
Maintains scientific equipment as necessary to support scientific and technical objectives as well as regulatory and governance requirements
Maintains good laboratory practices (GLP) consistent with IDS product development objectives and regulatory guidelines
Interfaces with engineering to support experimental designs and performs testing of product produced experimentally as required
