As a summer 2026 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.
Job Responsibility:
Perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work
Work closely with other team members and engineers on client projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control
Provide project design utilizing AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS/ArcPRO, HECRAS, HECHMS, or PCSWMM depending on the project
Assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports
Travel to job sites for field observation
Requirements:
Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil engineering or relatable)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
