Job Description:

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water resources services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a summer 2026 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work
  • Work closely with other team members and engineers on client projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control
  • Provide project design utilizing AutoCAD and GIS/ArcMap
  • Assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports
  • Potentially travel to job sites for field observation

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil engineering preferred)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS preferred
