Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is currently seeking an Engineering Intern(s) for our Boeing Engineering & Technology Innovation and Tool Engineering departments to work out of our office in Winnipeg, Manitoba location. This opportunity is 4 months in length, starting in September 2026. We are looking for current post-secondary students who are interested in working side-by-side with experienced engineering professionals. Our student Interns are given a unique experience as they learn the ropes and attain newfound competencies. Interns are exposed to on-the-job challenges as they work on hands-on tasks, undergo training, and have the opportunity to work on special projects. Job Responsibility
Assists in developing models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers
Apply general engineering techniques and concepts to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle
Assists in research, design, development, improvement and implementation of processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Engineering concepts
Utilizes engineering methods to support the development of optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources in the creation and validation of products
Requirements
Must be at least a 2nd year engineering student attending a university with studies in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering or similar technical discipline
Intermediate to advanced computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel
Willing and able to work 40 hours per week during the internship
Must have strong oral and written communications skills
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Nice to have
Prefer previous internship experience
Experience and knowledge of aerospace structures and/or composite materials would be beneficial
Experience in the use of CATIA or equivalent 3D Modelling software
