Job Description:

Assist the Engineering and Product development departments in producing engineering deliverables for various store fixtures and POP related products. Deliverables include shop drawings, assembly guides, BOMs, QC documentation and PDM data entry.

Job Responsibility:

Solidworks 3D Modelling
Solidworks 2D Model to Sheet generation
Engineer and draft store and POP fixtures from direction of the Engineering Manager and Product Development Manager
Facilitate submission of drawings to manufacturers including various 3D and 2D files
Generate bills of materials (BOM) outlining all master and sub-assemblies pertaining to engineering sets
Evaluate and assemble prototypes and capture necessary revisions to improve upon design and functionality
Work collaboratively to develop engineering solutions
Create instruction sheets for installation teams

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering school or program
Proficient in Solidworks, Adobe Illustrator & MS Office
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
Basic knowledge in manufacturing processes in multiple materials
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
