We are looking for an Intern to support our Asset Integrity & Maintenance (AIM) projects by providing hands‑on engineering, technical, and operational assistance. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and contribute to a wide range of activities, including data collection, basic analysis, CMMS updates, field support, documentation reviews, and general project coordination. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop core engineering and maintenance competencies.
Job Responsibility:
Support teams with data requests, document organization, and basic technical queries
Assist in gathering technical requirements and coordinating with engineering teams
Support equipment walkdowns, tagging activities, and supervised data collection
Verify asset information, equipment attributes, and documentation against CMMS records
Assist with equipment and warehouse surveys, including spare‑part identification
Assist with updates to asset hierarchies, data entry, and data validation in CMMS / EAM systems
Support the creation and review of maintenance plans, job plans, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
Contribute to CMMS data quality through QA / QC checks
Run basic SQL queries to extract or validate project data (training provided)
Help prepare datasets, review imported data, and support configuration activities for AIM tools
Participate in software feature testing and document findings
Assist in preparing training materials, such as presentations, guides, and simple video content
Participate in internal training programs to build AIM, CMMS, and engineering workflow competencies
Extract information from drawings, datasheets, and equipment manuals to support engineering activities
Conduct basic data analysis prior to loading data into AIM software tools
Support the preparation of client deliverables, reports, and technical documentation
Adhere to all ABL Group QHSE policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
Perform additional duties as required to support project and business needs
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Marine, or related field)
Basic IT skills
SQL knowledge is an advantage
Strong interest in asset management, engineering operations, and digital tools
Exposure to maintenance, reliability, or asset integrity topics is desirable
Previous experience with CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo, SAP) through academic or extracurricular projects
Certifications or coursework related to maintenance, inspection, or data analysis are a plus
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
SQL knowledge
Exposure to maintenance, reliability, or asset integrity topics
