This internship is designed to provide meaningful hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines within our Supply Chain and Operations network. As an Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for supporting critical engineering, quality, and process-improvement initiatives across multiple facilities. Interns contribute to safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvements while gaining hands-on exposure to real manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Job Responsibility:
Managing or supporting project activities or process improvement initiatives
Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate processes, establish baselines, or identify improvement opportunities
Participating in Kaizen events, Daily Management meetings, and Gemba walks
Supporting Change Management activities including documentation, trials, testing, and recommendations
Supporting quality activities such as root cause analysis, audits, defect investigation, documentation, and corrective action
Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, production, operations, and logistics
Assisting in workplace organization, ergonomic improvements, or visual management enhancements
Other duties as assigned based on business needs and internship track
Requirements:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or a related field
minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across functional groups
Passion for learning and continuous improvement
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Interest in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or engineering systems
Nice to have:
Experience with 3D CAD software
Exposure to Lean or Continuous Improvement concepts
Familiarity with quality tools or data analysis (e.g., SQL, 5-Why)
