Job Description:

Checkr is looking for Summer 2025 Infrastructure/SRE Interns to work on high-value engineering projects that will deliver real-world impact to Checkr’s customers. The internship program provides an opportunity to work on AI solutions, DevOps practices, and system scalability while collaborating in a hybrid environment.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver real-world impact to Checkr’s customers, candidates, and engineering organization
Leverage AI as a productivity enhancer
Deliver AI-integrated solutions to improve issue visibility, increase system resiliency, and create powerful tools that enable non-engineering stakeholders to unblock candidates

Requirements:

Engineering awareness in the Infrastructure/SRE space
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Linux
Enthusiasm and interest in AI
Interest in observability
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and pride in your work
Self-awareness and a desire to better yourself
Curiosity about how and why things work
Recently completed or are graduating in Spring 2025 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
