Join the heart of aerospace innovation at Airbus Broughton. As the Engineering Group Leader for Single Aisle (SA) Work Preparation, you will lead a dedicated team of Process Engineers within the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Industrialisation department. Your mission is to bridge the gap between design and reality, overseeing the creation of operational instructions, technical sequencing, and serial modifications for our world-class aircraft. In this role, you aren’t just managing tasks; you are inspiring a team to deliver high-quality industrial solutions that keep the world flying.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage team workloads to ensure key modification and project deliverables are met with precision
  • Drive team performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery, ensuring all financial targets are tracked and achieved
  • Organise and manage external work packages to supplement team capacity during peak project phases
  • Act as a key member of the ME Industrial leadership team, shaping configuration and industrialisation strategies across the Broughton plant
  • Champion first-installation feedback loops and P-FMEA processes to refine manufacturing assets and shop-floor efficiency

Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering discipline (HND level as a minimum)
  • Strong background in Manufacturing or Process Engineering
  • Previous experience in managing, engaging, and developing a high-performing technical team
  • Eye for detail in defining build processes, managing BoMs, and ensuring technical sequencing aligns with 'Work Preparation Golden Rules'
  • Comfortable participating in production routines and translating complex industrial requirements to Design and Supply Chain partners
  • Experience working with different levels of stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
