We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Executive to join our dynamic team at HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring asset reliability, and implementing engineering best practices across our manufacturing facilities.
Job Responsibility
Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize breakdowns
Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues, applying root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
Manage and mentor a team of technicians and junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality
Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and performance analyses to senior management
Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for engineering services and equipment procurement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the FMCG sector
Proven experience in project management, maintenance planning, and operational excellence
Strong understanding of industrial automation, process control systems, and relevant engineering software
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, GMP)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
