Job Description:

The Engineering Excellence Transformation & Change Manager contributes to the design and delivery of a major programme of cultural change across Tech at Citi, including leading global initiatives to support technical talent advancement, driving adoption of best practices, and fostering strategic collaboration.

Job Responsibility:

Build and lead a small, high performing team to execute on the EE agenda
lead non-direct large engineering teams through influence to execute on the EE agenda
lead on or participate in strategic EE initiatives in an ever-changing innovative environment
contribute to the continual improvement of EE as an active member of the EE Leadership Team
establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of EE initiatives, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting as needed
build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and support for EE initiatives
lead or participate in local Tech initiatives as directed by the Head of Tech, Belfast

Requirements:

Proven track record of transformation and delivery of large-scale initiatives, driven through influence rather than directly managing large teams
demonstrated ability to drive change and navigate complex organization dynamics
demonstrated ability to create vision and motivate others through exciting content and presentations
demonstrated passion for supporting technical career development of others
demonstrated analytical mindset, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
good knowledge of the software development process, ideally from working in and/or running development teams in a banking environment

Nice to have:

Ideally an engineering background, able to review technical challenges and propose solutions
always seeking to learn more about technology
