Job Description:

The Engineering DevOps Lead is a senior-level leadership position responsible for driving the establishment and implementation of new and revised shared services and frameworks. This role involves close collaboration with the Technology team and technical leadership of the DevOps group. The primary objective is to spearhead share services DevOps and programming initiatives, ensuring efficiency, reliability, capacity, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Being the leadership in the share service and DevOps team
  • Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code
  • Oversee the automation of build, test, and deployment processes
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of Share services and systems
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve production issues
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of DevOps initiatives
  • Stay abreast of emerging DevOps technologies and trends

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Application Development or systems analysis
  • Expert-level proficiency in software application programming, including Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript
  • Deep expertise with Pinot, Trino, Kafka, and Grafana Observability Tech Stack (Mimir, Tempo, Loki, OpenTelemetry)
  • Proven experience with ECS, LightSpeed, and CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Jira and GitHub
  • Demonstrated success in managing and implementing complex projects, including leading DevOps teams
  • Exceptional ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
