About the location: Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
Job Responsibility:
Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections
Serve as the point of contact for maintenance requests and prioritize work orders
Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment, and supplies
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
Ensure compliance with safety standards and assist in maintaining operational efficiency
Requirements:
Relevant Experience: Proven experience in maintenance coordination, preferably in a hotel, resort, or facility management environment
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of various maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage schedules, work orders, and maintenance requests efficiently
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot maintenance issues and develop effective solutions promptly
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and vendors effectively
Project Management: Ability to oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to maintenance and building operations
Computer Skills: Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage documentation and reporting
Customer Service Orientation: A focus on providing excellent service to both guests and staff, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment
Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed to ensure the maintenance needs of the property are met
