Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer Coordinator to join our Grid & Digital Solutions team in our offices in Paiania. Responsibilities include coordinating the civil and structural design process, reviewing related studies for compliance with requirements, collaborating with teams across UK and Greece, and more. The applicant should have strong experience in structural and civil engineering, knowledge of related software, and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

Co-ordination of the civil and structural design process
Reviewing civil, structural, and architectural studies to meet project, code, and contractual requirements
Collaborating closely with project teams in UK and Greece
Managing the design review process for client approval
Co-ordination of sub-contractors and sub-consultants
Administering and managing subcontractors
Providing technical support to the site team
Developing, reviewing, and monitoring civil works, including associated budgets and schedules
Assisting with and reviewing estimates for assigned projects
Making site visits as required
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

University Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering
5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the energy sector
Strong knowledge of structural steelwork — design experience is a required
construction experience is desirable
Chartered Engineer status preferred
Familiarity with Eurocodes & UK National Annexes
knowledge of National Grid standards is desirable
BIM experience is a plus
Very good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
Strong knowledge of computer applications, proficient with Microsoft office applications
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Management capability
Flexibility to travel abroad

Nice to have:

Chartered Engineer status preferred
knowledge of National Grid standards is desirable
BIM experience is a plus
