As a Co-op at Valvoline the individual will primarily work in Valvoline’s Cincinnati Manufacturing Plant. The individual will share responsibilities with Plant Engineering, EH&S, and Operations. Project work will include working on Valvoline’s implementation of newest software, working on developing and implementing continuous improvement projects, small capital projects/management, and data analytics to help justify resource allocations. Training will be on the job training (OJT) as required. *This is a 12 week on-site internship from August - December at our plant in Cincinnati, OH*

Job Responsibility

  • Participate and lead process and safety improvement projects focused in a production and packaging environment
  • Support global operations and the COE in software evaluation, design and implementation that will provide the manufacturing supply chain improvements in worker connectivity, data analytics, EHS/Quality/Productivity performance and support the Supply Chain 4.0 initiative
  • Delivering project results and presentation to stakeholders and upper management

  • A foundation in process engineering skills
  • Project management/leadership and cross functional process development
  • Lean Six Sigma, or Toyota production system knowledge
  • Experience working in data analytics and data visualization
