Wells Fargo is seeking an Engineering Associate – .NET to support to support Branch & ATM Operations and Monitoring within the Branch Systems and Transformation Technology organization. This team is part of Consumer Technology (CT), which partners closely with the business to deliver digital experiences, enable innovation, and advance the technologies that power our branches, ATMs, contact centers, and digital channels. Our teams support mission‑critical applications and platforms by emphasizing stability, security, scalability, speed, and long‑term success. In this role, you will contribute to the development, monitoring, and support of applications that ensure branch and ATM systems operate reliably across the enterprise. You will work alongside senior engineers to build software solutions, troubleshoot operational issues, monitor systems, and implement enhancements using a modern technology stack. This position is ideal for early‑career engineers who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a real‑time operational environment supporting high‑impact platforms. You will also participate in the Career Opportunities in Development and Engineering (CODE) Program — a two‑year development program that runs alongside your full-time experience. CODE is designed for recent grads, coding bootcamp alumni and individuals with hands-on technical experience looking to break into tech. No four‑year degree is required. Job Responsibility:
Help monitor branch and ATM application health, alerts, logs, and performance dashboards
assist with triage and issue investigation following established runbooks
Contribute to development and enhancement of internal tools and monitoring services using .NET, C#, React, SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
Assist in building scripts, dashboards, or lightweight automation to improve monitoring accuracy, event response, or operational workflows
Participate in incident response activities under guidance from senior team members, including log review, debugging, and documenting findings
Support the implementation of new features or improvements within branch and ATM applications, focusing on customer experience, reliability, and operational visibility
Work with SQL, Oracle, or Mongo to query data, validate system behavior, or support troubleshooting and reporting tasks
Assist with writing and executing unit tests, regression tests, and integration tests to support high‑quality releases
Maintain accurate runbooks, troubleshooting notes, configuration details, and operational procedures
Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of branch and ATM monitoring capabilities
Requirements:
6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
6+ months of hands‑on experience writing code in at least one programming language (C#, JavaScript, REACT or Python), demonstrated through academic projects, labs, or internship deliverables
6+ months working with .NET or C# development, including building small tools or applications (100–300 lines of code) for coursework, labs, or personal projects
6+ months working with relational or NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB), including writing and running basic SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, filtering) for assignments or troubleshooting tasks
Basic understanding of front‑end development using React or other modern JavaScript frameworks
Experience using Git or another version control system in team projects or coursework
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills, such as debugging project code, resolving build errors, analyzing logs, or fixing defects during academic or internship assignments
Experience integrating or calling RESTful APIs, such as creating simple GET/POST requests, using Postman, or wiring API data into a UI or backend project
Experience using monitoring, logging, or performance dashboards, such as reviewing system logs, interpreting metrics, or analyzing alerts during labs or project work
Experience working in Agile or team‑based environments, evidenced by participating in standups, sprints, team coding projects, or producing documentation like runbooks, feature notes, or troubleshooting steps
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, managing email and calendars in Outlook, and building presentations in PowerPoint
Bachelor’s in computer science or related field preferred but not required
The selected candidate for this role must be able to begin employment by May 13, 2026, in a full‑time capacity
This position is required to work from the designated posted office location and must be able to meet all expectations of the current hybrid work schedule, including regular in‑office attendance as defined by the team and program requirements
Actively engage in the two-year CODE Program, including participation in training, mentorship, networking events, and career development activities
