Job Responsibility:
Assess apprentices in the workplace against qualification standards
Support learners to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours
Provide clear, constructive feedback to support progress
Monitor and track learner progress to ensure timely achievement
Work closely with employers to support apprentice development
Maintain accurate assessment records and documentation
Ensure compliance with awarding body and quality standards
Requirements:
Industry experience in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing or related fields)
A relevant engineering qualification (Level 3 or above)
An assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to build effective relationships with learners and employers
A proactive and supportive approach to learner development
