Our client, is further developing an Industry-leading Integrity Management Program which ensures our natural gas system assets are safe and reliable. The Integrity department is accountable for understanding the condition of our assets, confirming they are fit for continued use, or justifying replacement projects if they are nearing end of life. This role resides in the Facilities Integrity Management Program team. The specific role will have a focus on the creation of Integrity Plans for many critical facilities at Enbridge Gas Inc. The creation of these Integrity Plans requires the collection and review of relevant records including design drawings and past condition monitoring activities, identification of integrity threats applicable to the site, and fitness for service assessments.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate, plan, develop and deliver projects within the Facilities Integrity Management Program (FIMP), which includes assets like pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure relief valves, piping and ancillary components
Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (including Station Operations, Station Engineering, Storage and Transmission, Engineering Construction and Capital Programs) and external stakeholders (including vendors, consultants, and Technical Standards and Safety Authority) and resolving issues and challenges on a program level independently
Provide support to the facilities integrity assessment program to provide a safe and reliable service that is in compliance with the requirements of applicable standards and regulations in Canada
Coordinate asset inspections, investigations, assessments, and threat mitigations for station assets
Support FIMP project prioritization activities within the Asset Plan
May assist in representing the Company on various industry-related committees and forums including formal codes and standard writing committees or industry task forces
Requirements:
Education: the candidates would be required to have at minimum an Engineering degree
Minimum of 4 years or more related work experience
Experience with MS Office software, Adobe Reader, MS Teams necessary
Nice to have:
Experience with ProjectWise or similar records management system
Experience with Bentley Navigator or View
Experience with modelling/coding in SPSS software or similar
Previous experience in station design or station integrity within the oil and gas industry would be beneficial
