We are looking for an individual with a passion for learning who has experience in Pipelines Integrity Assessment and Management. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring integrity programs for assets within the Enhanced Distribution Integrity Management Program (EDIMP) scope are developed, carried out, and effective. The individual would also be providing technical support for distribution assets on integrity matters and play a lead role in preparing technical material.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, execute, and complete integrity plans for Enhanced DIMP assets
Perform integrity assessments based on the available data
Ensure all Enhanced DIMP hazards are effectively identified, investigated, assessed, and prioritized for mitigation
Assess the Enhanced DIMP assets hazards to develop an understanding of the asset condition, fitness for service, and risks associated with the operation of the assets
Develop Enhanced DIMP documentation following the company’s internal processes and practices
Continuously improve the Enhanced DIMP program based on management reviews, effectiveness reviews, external independent validation observations, or Internal assessment findings
Support the development and review of the inputs to the Risk Model related to Enhanced DIMP Assets
Work collaboratively with stakeholders for the creation and completion of integrity program risk mitigation scenarios and strategies related to Enhanced DIMP assets
Requirements:
Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or Canadian jurisdiction
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering, pipeline integrity, gas transmission or distribution operations
Experience and understanding of pipeline design, construction practices, field operations, and non-destructive inspection methods for natural gas pipelines
