Job Description:

The Engineering Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor & Troubleshoot Environments: Track system health and performance
troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues to minimize downtime
Support CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing continuous integration and deployment workflows to ensure efficient and reliable releases
Automate Routine Tasks: Implement automation to streamline repetitive activities—like deployment, configuration and infrastructure
Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Respond swiftly to production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, act on alerts, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrences
Observability & Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (AppD,Splunk, Grafana, ELK) for real-time visibility and rapid response capabilities
Collaboration & Support: Act as a liaison between development, QA, and operations teams
Help troubleshoot deployments, guide operations, document support processes, and provide user-facing support when needed
Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain clear documentation (e.g., runbooks, incident reports, diagrams)
Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose improvements to boost delivery speed and system reliability

Requirements:

CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, Teamcity, uDeploy, Ansible or equivalent for deployment automation
Containers / Orchestration: Familiarity using Docker and Kubernetes for containerized environments
Monitoring & Logging: Hands-on experience with tools like AppD, Grafana, ELK, Splunk
Version Control: Strong Git skills and understanding of branching, merging, and workflows
ECS openshift knowledge
System Troubleshooting: Solid problem-solving for performance and deployment-related issues
2–5 years in roles related to system administration, software development, IT support, or related fields
Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, cloud, containerization, and infrastructure tooling
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
