In this role you will provide support to the Engineering Function with the control of the Engineering Stores. The support provided will involve the constant stock takes to help replenish stocks used.
Job Responsibility
Provide support to the Engineering Function with the control of the Engineering Stores
Maintenance systems stock – ensure critical spares for all machinery is stocked at recommended levels
Purchase orders – assist the Eng Purchasing Manager with the raising of purchase orders through to completion with special care on pricing match to PO
Engineering Budget – Update and track all PO's raised on the engineering spend tracker
Stock Control – Carry out weekly stock takes as per plan and any other areas as directed by the Eng Purchasing Manager
Chemical ordering – Assist the Eng Purchasing Manager with ordering all chemicals to ensure a continued supply
Stores areas 5s’ – Ensure the stores areas are always 100% technically compliant and no stock is ever placed on floors
Requirements
Previous administration experience
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Good planning and organisation skills
Flexible working attitude and great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, strong team-working and the ability to work unsupervised in a pressurised environment
