We are always looking for talented Engineers to join our team as we continue to grow and scale and have several pods that will be hiring later this year. Job Responsibility

  • Building and improving our core Monarch features like budgeting, goals, and reports across our web and mobile platforms
  • Building product experiences that help Monarch to reach more users, and to help those users through the path to financial success using Monarch
  • Work on rapid experimentation, a/b testing, improving our onboarding flow and initiatives around customer engagement and retention
  • Own the process that allows our users to see your whole financial life in one view
  • Handle all of data connectivity, making sure all of your financial data is delivered safely and accurately into Monarch
  • Handle our infrastructure and developer tooling to help the rest of the team ship faster and more reliably
  • Improve our overall security posture and helps individual teams maintain a focus on security and privacy
  • Focus on identifying and executing ways to augment our product offering at Monarch
  • Work will involve validating and building out zero-to-one user experiences

Requirements

  • A "product-centric" mindset and pride in building something people love
  • Experience with (or interest in learning) our tech stack: Front End: React/Typescript, React Native, Apollo (GraphQL) for API requests
  • Back-End: Python/Django, GraphQL/Graphene, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • AWS, Terraform, Docker, ECS, EC2
  • CI/CD (Circle CI)
  • Comfort working across the entire stack when needed
  • Working collaboratively with other functions in a remote environment
  • Comfort working with a lot of autonomy and some ambiguity
