Job Description:

The Engineer position at Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel involves responding to guest repair requests, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of tools, equipment, and facilities. The role requires physical activities such as lifting, bending, and climbing while maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Carry equipment
Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment
Maintain maintenance inventory
Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall repair
Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment and plumbing
Program TVs and perform engineering-related inventory duties
Repair interior and exterior landscaping
Follow company and safety policies
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Ensure professional uniform and appearance
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Perform reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
Driver’s License
Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.

Nice to have:

Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
