Job Description

This role designs, validates, and deploys technical solutions to maintain and enhance network and system performance and reliability. Primary functions include developing network designs, validation plans, monitoring systems, and engineering tools to optimize efficiency and cost. The role requires evaluating requirements, assessing design tradeoffs, and supporting deployment to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Success is measured by the reliability, performance, efficiency, and timely delivery of network and system solutions. The work impacts organizational operations and customer experience by ensuring robust and scalable network infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and deliver complex network system designs to improve reliability and performance
  • Develop and maintain validation procedures and tests to ensure design compliance and effectiveness
  • Drive engineering projects by applying techniques, conducting tests, and preparing technical reports
  • Supervise and mentor associate engineers to support project execution and knowledge sharing
  • Continuously study and apply current technologies to enhance network design and optimization
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering or related field
  • 5 yrs Technical engineering experience
  • Able to communicate goals in support of the business' mission
  • Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
  • Ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team. Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships who can provide information, assistance, and support
  • The ability to ensure that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed. Express oneself clearly in conversations and interactions with others. Clear business and technical writing skills
  • The ability to demonstrate concern and meet external and/or internal customers’ needs
  • The ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
  • The ability to demonstrate depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area
  • The ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies
  • The ability to gain others' support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions
  • At least 18 years of age
