On behalf of our client, a global technology leader focused on developing innovative data storage and memory solutions that power the world's most demanding applications, they are seeking an Engineer, Systems Design Verification Engineering I to support validation and verification activities. This role will focus on executing test plans, analyzing failures, improving test infrastructure, and collaborating cross-functionally with firmware, tools, and test development teams. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, hands-on testing experience, and an interest in storage technologies and semiconductors.
Job Responsibility:
Execute and manage nightly and weekly validation testing for Flash and SSD products
Perform first-level triage and analysis of test failures and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive issue resolution
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the validation group by maintaining a high-level understanding of Flash/SSD architectures and testing methodologies
Prepare and deliver nightly and weekly status reports for validation and product teams, highlighting progress, issues, and risks
Review and analyze NVMe SSD validation requirements based on customer and architectural specifications and provide feedback to influence product design for test and debug
Research, develop, and implement innovative approaches to testing and validating NVMe SSD products
Partner with Firmware and Test Development teams to design customized tests for issue reproduction and customer-reported problem investigation
Coordinate with internal tools teams to identify gaps and define new features to enhance test coverage and tool capacity
Design and implement test infrastructure enhancements to improve validation efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
1–3 years of relevant engineering or validation experience (internships and academic project work may be considered)
Experience with analog and/or digital electronics
Proficiency in C/C and Python programming
Experience working in Linux and Windows operating environments
