In this role, you are responsible for the technical coordination of access, maintenance, and safety systems within wind turbine towers. You act as a key interface between engineering, service, HSE, product safety, and sourcing. Your work ensures safe, consistent, and robust solutions for steel and hybrid tower concepts.
Job Responsibility:
Technical lead for tower access and safety systems such as ladders, lifts, platforms, doors, and protection features
Central interface to engineering, service, HSE, product safety, and sourcing for all tower‑related system topics
Representation of the subsystem in interdisciplinary tower meetings for steel and hybrid towers
Presentation of system status, risks, challenges, and open points in review and decision boards
Ensuring consistent technical standards and system architectures across different tower concepts
Coordination and maintenance of DFMEA within the system responsibility
Close collaboration with design teams to define and continuously improve technical solutions
Requirements:
Completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering qualification
Several years of experience in mechanical component development or system responsibility, preferably related to towers
Solid knowledge of steel, sheet metal, or welded constructions
Experience in cross‑functional technical coordination and stakeholder alignment
Familiarity with structured development processes and methodologies
Fluent English skills, German and or Spanish are considered an advantage
