Engineer Specialist, Plant Engineering for Pulp Energy and circularity Business Line (based in Chennai, India). We are looking for “Engineer Specialist, Plant Engineering” to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to “Manager, Engineering, India”. In this position you will have an opportunity to carry out all engineering activities associated with Plant Engineering for Cooking, fiber line, Pulp drying.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and carry out detailed 3D piping and plant layouts including equipment, piping, support design using tools like AVEVA E3D and associated engineering calculations for Cooking, Fiber line, and Pulp Drying projects, consisting of various Equipment, platform, structures and other items considering various aspects such as operation, maintenance, Access requirements etc., load data for structures, general arrangement drawings etc.
To produce and review piping layout drawings, Isometrics & support drawings
To coordinate & closely work with all agencies like process engineers, project management for receipt of inputs and maintain schedule
To provide deliverables in line with project & company quality requirements
Managing and development of reporting engineers/Designers.
Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Graduate with 6 - 10 years of Experience
Diploma holders with 10 – 15 years of experience in piping, plant Layout and detail engineering of Pulp mill area like Cooking, Fiber line, and Pulp Drying
Detail engineering knowledge of equipment, Piping along with experience in piping support engineering
Knowledge on ASME and EN codes, strength calculation
Knowledge on flexibility analysis
Good Communication skills in English
Coordinating with Shop, Site and other Engineering units
Exposure on software COMOS, M files, AutoCAD, E3d, Navis, Caesar II, etc.
