Job Responsibility:
Perform static and F&DT analysis to assess the structural impact of manufacturing non-conformities, airframe repairs, reworks, and modifications
Able to perform risk assessments for In-service fleet issues
Ensure adherence to Airbus methods, processes, and certification requirements
Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and other Airbus departments to develop optimal solutions
Work towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation for concessions on primary and secondary aircraft structures
Review, approve, or pre-approve stress justification reports for aircraft concessions
Knowledge about Aircraft Maintenance tasks, ALI, MPD, SB, AOT, AD
Provide technical guidance to peers and support the development of stress engineers in the delegation process
Develop and maintain component and aircraft familiarity to ensure prompt response to production needs
Requirements:
Proven experience in static stress analysis of aircraft structures, with a strong understanding of F&DT concepts
Experience handling concessions for aerospace components, preferably Airbus structures
Understanding of certification requirements and experience with stress dossiers
Proficiency in Finite Element Methods (FEM/FEA) and stress analysis tools (e.g., ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM)
Strong knowledge of structural design principles, aircraft loads, and material behavior
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong communication and negotiation skills
Willingness to develop towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation
