The SAP ERP Coordinator / Process Engineering Role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of material and production master data within the SAP ERP and MDG systems. The role supports the SAP MM landscape by analyzing, resolving, and preventing master data and process-related issues while enabling efficient manufacturing and supply chain operations. This position works closely with cross‑functional teams including Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Trade Compliance to create, maintain, and optimize part numbers, Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and related master data. The role also plays a key part in driving process improvements, supporting Kanban and backflush setups for raw materials, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. Through strong SAP expertise, manufacturing knowledge, and collaboration skills, the role contributes to improved data accuracy, operational efficiency, cost reduction, and smooth execution across product families and global engineering teams.
Job Responsibility:
Act as SAP ERP / MDG Coordinator, maintaining high standards of master data quality, governance, and compliance
Support and troubleshoot SAP MM processes and issues
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to create and maintain part numbers, BOMs, routings, and material master data
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, service levels, and cost effectiveness
Provide technical data to Logistics and Trade Compliance teams for HSN code classification
Configure and maintain Kanban and backflush processes for raw materials across product families
Support global engineering documentation updates and standardization efforts
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline with 3–5 years of experience
In‑depth knowledge of SAP ERP systems, particularly SAP MM
Strong understanding of BOM and Routing structures
Ability to read and interpret product drawings
Basic understanding of manufacturing shop‑floor operations
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and process‑oriented mindset
Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse teams and levels within the organization
